Rambling and Musing

I’m in love with that crazy funny nutjob Stephen Colbert of the Colbert Report (if you don’t know him the T in both Colbert and Report is silent. And what is it like on your planet?). The man cracks me up. Has he won an Emmy yet? He’s hysterical, he should have an Emmy.  I condone truthiness. :)

I’m driving home from dinner and the radio starts playing Matchbox Twenty’s “If You’re Gone” . What is it about Rob Thomas’ voice that makes me completely melt? I love the sound of his voice. I feel wonderful everytime I hear it. My god it causes a complete physiological change in me. It’s like magic.

My heart beat changes, starts beating erratically. I get light headed, my breathing becomes shallow, my clit engorges with blood, and I feel like I might at any moment melt into a pile of goo. All perfectly palapable physiological changes (except for maybe the goo thing). Why does the sound of his voice do this? It’s bizarre. (Kinda like when Mary Hart’s voice was causing seizures back in the early ’90’s)

I often accidentally fall in love with clients if one of his songs happens to be playing during an appointment. And I love it. :D Needless to say I find Rob Thomas totally do-able. Between the voice and him being unbelievably hot (I think it’s his eyes), that’s no surprise. (I remember Jude Law having the same physiological effect on me a few years ago).Honestly I love it. It feels like I’ve been drugged. There are no side effects to Matchbox Twenty songs are there?

But maybe the physical changes I feel everytime I hear his voice isn’t lust/love. Maybe it’s angina? I should probably see a doctor.

In the meantime, discounts on future appointments to anyone who brings tons of Rob Thomas and Matchbox Twenty CD’s to me as gifts at an appointment. http://www.robthomasmusic.com/ http://www.matchboxtwenty.com/ http://www.debraford123.com/content/bin/everythingrobthomas.html

well.. it’s nice to see MB20 & rob [on a side note] get positive feedback. such a rare thing these days. they’re one of the most talented, interesting honest bands i’ve ever known.

it’s funny, i never noticed until recently that rob [especially back in the day] was hot-ish.. but watching the numerous music videos of theirs it is quite obvious. i always appreciated his internal persona [i.e great songwriting ability, being able to relate, etc] instead and never really took the time to stop and look at him long enough. ha.

recently i actually got hit on by a guy that looked a lot like him [a darker, italian version..] but blew him off. i’m kind of regretting that now.
